We are a family run business and have extensive experience with personalized weddings (40+ yearly) and offer wedding packages throughout the year as well as outdoor ceremonies in our beautiful park. Whether you want a small intimate wedding or a grand celebration with all the extras, we are here to assist you.

Outdoor Ceremony
Say "I do" by the lake
Exchange your vows surrounded by greenery, mature trees and the calm waters of Lake Hjälmsjön.
Choose from several beautiful ceremony locations throughout the park and create a setting that feels entirely your own.
We provide decorations, flowers and floral arrangements for your ceremony as well as chairs, sound equipment and microphones.

Stay in one of Sweden's most unique wedding suites
Spend your wedding night in our private octagonal tower hidden among the rhododendrons - Palmhuset
Originally built for socializing, drinking tea, and watching matches on the adjacent tennis courts, this tower has undergone extensive renovations to create private suite nestled in the rhododendron in the northern part of the park. Here, you stay in our beautiful octagonal tower with a soaring five-meter ceiling! In the center of the tower stands the palm trunk, serving as both a chimney and the core of the spiral staircase. Take a bath and enjoy the 360-degree view of the treetops or light a fire in the cozy fireplace and savor the architecture. Palmhuset has received a lot of attention, and you can read more about it in some of Swedens major newspapers and blogs.

Up to 30 guests can stay on the estate, with additional accommodation available just outside our walls.

Your Wedding at Hjelmsjöborg
FIRST DAY
ARRIVAL
Welcome your guests at our entrance and check in to your rooms.
REHEARSAL DINNER
Gather everyone for a relaxed dinner or BBQ in our park. Play garden games and mingle with friends and family.
WEDDING DAY
WAKE UP
Meet your family and friends for breakfast and after the bride and groom can start their preperations in seperate suites in our park. Your guest can wander the grounds, have a tennis tournament, take a swim in the lake or just relax.
CEREMONY
Exchange your vows in the park, beside the lake or in one of our historic interiors.
RECEPTION
Welcome your guests with champagne and canapés or with our favourite Swedish fika style: Cut the wedding cake outdoor and have coffe/tea/champagne and activities in our park like a beautiful picnic.
DINNER
Enjoy a beautifully decorated dinner at Agronomet (the old stables) or Borgen (the main building). We set the tables outside or inside.
PARTY
Bring in your DJ or live band and dance into the night.
NIGHT
Stay at Hjelmsjöborg and let the celebration continue the following morning.
THE DAY AFTER
BRUNCH IN THE KEEP
Gather everyone for a long brunch, open gifts, talk to everyone, and say goodbye without stress.
In the Agronomet Deluxe & Grand packages, as well as the wedding in Borgen, you arrive to pre-set tables. We polish and arrange the tableware, set tables with linen napkins, handcrafted candles, and beautiful flower arrangements. You also have the opportunity to book additional options and, together with our decorators, create a larger vision for your wedding.
Below, you can see some examples of table settings but you can choose your personal theme/style.
Flowers
We love working with flowers and can also create your bridal bouquet, corsage, bridesmaid bouquets, floral arch, altar bouquets, pew flowers, and other types of decorations according to your preferences
Autumn & Winter
Is there anything more beautiful than the wonderful color palette of autumn or the winter's white attire? Let this beautiful season imprint itself on your wedding. Why not throw autumn leaves instead of rose petals? Let the fires dance in the darkness of this midwinter dream.
The advantages of getting married during autumn & winter are that it's not as booked up, making it easier to get everything you desire! Hairdresser, chef, the best photographer, etc. We at Hjelmsjöborg offer off-season prices during autumn & winter.

You can get to Hjelmsjöborg by train to Helsingborg or Hässleholm and than either take the bus that drops you just outside our walls or taxi.
