Your own castle for the weekend
Hjelmsjöborg is a historic estate surrounded by a private park and beautiful countryside, with Lake Hjälmsjön right next to the property.
Instead of simply renting a party venue, you can make the entire stay part of the celebration.
Spend the afternoon walking through the park, playing games, enjoying the lake or simply relaxing together. In the evening, gather around the dinner table, raise a glass and celebrate.
And when the party is over, there is no need to drive home.
Stay the night and continue the celebration over breakfast the following morning.
From the first toast to the last dance
We offer several different settings depending on the size and style of your celebration.
Agronomet – for a big celebration
Our beautiful Agronomet event space is located next to Lake Hjälmsjön and can accommodate up to approximately 130 guests.
The venue includes a large dining and party room, lounge and bar area, stage, sound and lighting equipment and everything you need for a memorable evening.
Enjoy a dinner with your closest friends and family, give speeches, show photos and videos from the past years, bring in a band or DJ and dance late into the night.
The Castle – for a more intimate celebration
For a smaller and more private birthday celebration, our main building offers a completely different atmosphere.
Celebrate inside the historic castle, surrounded by original details, fireplaces, beautiful rooms and the character of a Swedish country estate.
The Castle is ideal for smaller groups of up to approximately 40 guests and is perfect for a more intimate dinner and celebration.
Turn your birthday into a weekend
Why celebrate for just one evening when you can spend the entire weekend together?
Hjelmsjöborg offers several unique accommodation options, allowing your guests to stay together on the estate.
Wake up in the historic main building, stay in the charming Palm House or choose one of our other accommodations around the estate.
For larger groups, we can combine several accommodations so that everyone can stay close to the celebration.
Start the next morning with a long breakfast, a walk around the lake or simply another coffee together in the park.
Things to do at Hjelmsjöborg
There is plenty to do between the celebrations.
Challenge your friends to a game of tennis, disc golf, croquet or mini golf. Try archery, explore the grounds or enjoy the lake with a kayak or boat.
You can also arrange activities and team challenges for your group.
Or simply do nothing.
Take your time. Sit by the lake. Have another glass of wine. Enjoy being together.
